Sandra Newman is the author of three novels and a memoir. Her first novel, The Only Good Thing Anyone Has Ever Done was a finalist for the Guardian First Book Award. Howard Mittelmark is the author of the novel Written Out. As a ghostwriter/collaborator/editor, he has had a hand in dozens of novels and memoirs, including two New York Times bestsellers. He has worked for literary agencies and publishers of both books and magazines in various editorial capacities. His book reviews and essays have appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Philadelphia Inquirer, The International Herald-Tribune, Kirkus Reviews, Writer’s Digest, Hollywood Reporter, and other publications.
